Getting There

You can easily reach the festivities either by car or Metro-North Railroad. To really enjoy “Hudson Ferry-Go-Round,” consider leaving your car parked for the day. Park at any station on the Hudson Line of MTA Metro-North and take the train to Peekskill to connect with ferry service to Haverstraw..

By Train:
Take the Hudson Line from Grand Central Station to Tarrytown, Ossining, or Peekskill. All festival locations are located nearby. Transportation into community will be provided at each location.

By Car:

  • Peekskill-
    From the South: Take the Sprain Brook Parkway North. Exit at Route 9A. Continue approximately 10 miles and exit at Louisa St. Follow signs for parking at Charles Point Park.

    From the North: New York Thruway to Exit 16 (Bear Mt.) Follow signs for Rt. 6 and the Bear Mt. Bridge. Cross bridge and bear to the right. This is the Bear Mt. Road. At Annsville Circle follow signs onto Rt. 9. Get off at Louisa St. Follow signs for parking at Charles Point Park.
  • Haverstraw-
    From Manhattan, take the Palisades Parkway north to Exit 13 (Haverstraw/Suffern). Turn right onto Thiells Mt. Ivy Road and left onto Route 202. Continue 4 miles. turn right on Route 9W. Continue 1/2 mile. turn left on New Main Street and follow signs for parking. Walk or take the trolley to all events or to the ferry landing.
    From the NYS Thruway westbound, take Exit 11 (9W north) about 10 miles. Turn right onto New Main Street and follow signs for parking. Walk or take the transportation to all events or to the ferry landing.
  • Ossining-
    Northbound:
    Taking 287/Taconic Parkway
    Take 287 West to Exit 3.  Get on the Taconic State/Sprain Brook Parkway North.  Get off exit for 9A North.  Go past two traffic lights.  Exit at Route 133 -- Croton Avenue.  Make a left at the end of the ramp.  Follow into Village approximately 1.4 miles.  At traffic light at intersection with Route 9 and Route 133, bear left onto Route 9 South.  Make a right onto Broad Avenue.
    Route 9
    Follow Route 9 northbound.  Approximately .8 mile north of the Arcadian Shopping Center, make a left onto Broad Avenue.
    From Broad Avenue
    Follow Broad to end and make a right onto State Street.  Follow State Street to end, making a left onto Main Street.  Main Street becomes Secor Road and leads to the train station.  Drive up the ramp and over the tracks.  Make a left at the end of the ramp.  Ferries will be loading adjacent to the train station.  Please park in the railroad station parking lot.
    Southbound:
    Taconic Parkway
    Exit Taconic Parkway at Route 134 -- Ossining.  Continue on Route 134 until it intersects with Route 9A.  At that traffic light, make a right onto Route 9A northbound.  From the left lane, make a left turn onto Stormytown Road until end.  At the stop sign, make a left onto Cedar Lane.  Follow Cedar Lane until end.  At the light, make a left onto Rout 9 Southbound.  Make a quick right onto Snowden Avenue.
    Route 9
    After the Route 9 -- Route 9A split at the northern edge of Ossining, travel .9 mile (three traffic lights).  Make a right on Snowden Avenue.

    At the end of Snowden Avenue, go straight through the four-way stop intersection onto Westerly Road.  Ferries will be loading on the waterfront adjacent to the train station.  Please park in the railroad station parking lot.
  • Sleepy Hollow-
    Directions to Ferries:
      As a result of the Beekman Avenue Street Fair, the main road to the dock will be partially blocked.  Please use the following directions to get to the Parking Area for the Ferry Go Round
    Southbound: From Route 9 southbound, make a right turn on Pocantico Street (Philipsburg Manor entrance will be on your right).  Turn right on Elm Street, left on Kendall, follow to end where it will intersect lower Beekman Avenue.  Turn right on Beekman and follow signs to Parking Lot.
    Northbound: Immediately after Patriot's Park (on your left) make a left turn onto Depeyster Street.  Travel to end, then make a right turn onto Clinton Street and a left onto lower Beekman Avenue.  Parking Lot will be on your right at bottom of hill
    Parking For Ferry Riders: Parking will be available in the GM lot located near the dock at Ichabod's Landing.
